Penny x1 (肖依) is a visual artist from Beijing, China. She graduated from the MFA Illustration as Visual Essay program in New York. Penny enjoys finding ways to capture the passage of time in still images and is particularly interested in illustrating small moments that reveal relationships between people and their interactions with their surroundings. Penny loves quiet art, and she often translates her personal experiences into fictional narratives to generate a broader image. She welcomes challenges and is passionate about making art accessible to the public!
